Back to my family roots
Saturday 20`th August I was invited and did attend the yearly celecbration of the Bruvik village, for its inhabitants.
I drow trough the wild and beautiful nature of Osterøy, an Island just outside the city Bergen on the Norwegian west coast. At Bruvik I did have a small show case, and really enjoyed nice conversations while showing the timepieces. Good home made wafles and cofee did top this day in the village of my family roots.
In the Bruvik village, there is about 400 persons living, and most of them do work outside Bruvik. There is a small grosery shop, and a wagon factory that do make horse- wagons in the traditonal way. During the day at Bruvik those who liked could have a small trip with the horse wagon from this factory.
Next time I will visit Bruvik, I will for sure bring my track gear, as it is said to be some really nice hiking tracks in the mountain above the Bruvik village.
